IT Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage, support, maintain, and upgrade the on-board IT infrastructure of vessels, including laptops/desktops, printers, storage systems, and networking & communications devices in office and on board.
• Provide remote IT support and on-board support on vessels when required.
• Maintain IT security and provide backup solutions.
• Liaise with vendors, email providers, and other IT personnel for problem resolution or procurement.
• The IT Manager will be responsible for managing, supporting, maintaining, and upgrading the on-board IT infrastructure of vessels, including providing remote and on-board support, maintaining IT security, and liaising with vendors and other IT personnel. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling IT infrastructure in the shipping industry, along with specific knowledge of IT systems and procedures relevant to the role.
